CM OF AP PRESENTED SILK VASTRAM TO LORD VENKATESWARA
Tirumala, 29 Sep 2011(P.R.O) Sri Kiran Kumar Reddy, Hon’ble Chief Minister of A.P presented a pair of `silk vastrams,' to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on behalf of the State Government, in connection with the Sri Vari Annual Brahmotsavam in Tirumala on thursday.
The Chief Minister carried the silver plate containing the `vastrams' on his head from the Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple to the Venkateswara temple, accompanied by temple paraphernalia and `nadaswaram' music. Later he presented the `vastrams' to the chief priest, inside the sanctum sanctorum and TTD Chairman Sri K.Bapi Raju presented Sri Vari Prasadam at Ranganayakula Mandapam.
Later the honourable CM inaugurated the 2012 New year calendars including Rs.75 twelve sheet calendar, Rs.10 and Rs.7 calendars, Rs.100 diaries, a book on Vaikhanasa Agama compiled by TTD Vaikhanasa Agama Advisor Dr.Vedantam Vishnubhattacharyulu, poster on Tarigonda Nityakalyanamastu marriage programme.
Hon'ble Ministers Sri Raghuveera Reddy, Smt. Galla Aruna Kumari, Sri Chinta Mohan, M.P, TTD Board Members Sri C.Muthyam Reddy, Sri R.Suryaprakash Rao, Sri K.S.Srinivas Raju , JEO TTD, Sri M.K.Singh, C.V&S.O, Sri Munirathnam Reddy DyEO(Temple), Sri Chandrasekhar Pillai, Peishkar and other Govt, TTD Officials were present.
